The series is produced by Velvet Hammer Media and will probably be executive-produced by Rebecca Quinn, Jen O\u2019Connell, Simon Thomas, Trifari Williams, Rob Ford, and Steve Michaels, who’ve worked on popular productions comparable to \u201cAge of Attraction\u201d and \u201cLove Island USA.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Blast reported about Cannon\u2019s previous comments about his children in September 2025. While speaking with the hosts of \u201cThe Breakfast Club,\u201d Cannon said his fathering 12 children was on account of him being \u201ccareless.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was more of being careless, being frivolous with my process because I could do it, because I had the cash [and] because I had the access to whoever and nevertheless I desired to move,\u201d he said. \u201cThen, obviously, life happens as well, so it wasn\u2019t like \u2018Oh, I\u2019m gonna go have 12 kids.\u2019 It was more about like, \u2018Yo, I\u2019m gonna just live life and rejoice and whatever happens happens. Cannon, who became a father to twins, Moroccan and Monroe, at age 30, said his mindset has shifted as he\u2019s gotten older.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeing almost 45 now, I could sit back and like, yeah, if I’d have thought the method through a bit bit more and took time to truly do the inner work,\u201d he said. \u201cThings may need been a bit different in certain scenarios.\u201d<\/p>\n

Before that, Cannon opened up about how he raises his 12 children with their moms during a previous episode of his podcast, \u201cNick Cannon @ Night.\u201d<\/p>\n

Responding to a listener who asked how he co-parents, Cannon said he doesn\u2019t agree with the term \u201cco-parenting,\u201d adding that it should just be called \u201cparenting.\u201d<\/p>\n

He went on to say that placing \u201clabels\u201d on things could cause more harm than good. \u201cBut in addition to your point, if I just step into every situation with respect and compassion and individuality. That\u2019s the opposite thing I all the time do with anyone I\u2019m involved with in my life,\u201d the \u201cDrumline\u201d actor said.<\/p>\n

Adding to the conversation, Cannon said that he tries to approach his relationships with the moms of his children with an open mind. <\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t bunch them together. I actually try my hardest to not be like, \u2018Oh yeah, my baby mamas,\u2019 you recognize, unless I\u2019m telling a joke or something like that, but nobody desires to be grouped into anything,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Like, \u2018Oh that\u2019s my sister, oh that\u2019s my brother.\u2019 So my daughter desired to clear it up and be like, \u2018I only have one brother, like literally in her age group.
