Aalim Hakim says he’ll stop working with actors whose \u201cmanagers\u201d disrespect hairdressers, makeup artists and crew in cryptic note<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n In his note posted on May 15, 2026, Aalim wrote, \u201cRESPECT THE ARTISTS BEHIND THE STAR. Hairdressers. Makeup Artists. Stylists. Assistants. Crew Members. Please don\u2019t call them \u2018just staff.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n He further highlighted the demanding nature of creative work within the entertainment industry, writing, \u201cBehind every public appearance, every red carpet moment, every film look, every photoshoot, every close-up\u2026 there are creative people silently giving their heart, their time, their talent, and their energy to make someone shine.\u201d<\/p>\n The hairstylist also reflected on the non-public sacrifices many crew members make while working within the industry. \u201cLots of these artists leave their homes before sunrise. Stand for countless hours. Miss festivals, birthdays, families, sleep, and peace\u2026 Only to be sure the actor they work with looks and feels their very best,\u201d he shared.<\/p>\n Aalim\u2019s statement appeared to directly address instances of disrespect and rude behaviour faced by crew members from representatives related to celebrities. Without naming anyone, he wrote, \u201cIt’s heartbreaking to see managers speaking rudely, humiliating people, throwing attitude, or releasing frustration on innocent crew members, especially for mistakes that will not be even theirs.\u201d<\/p>\n He also added that such behaviour can negatively affect an actor\u2019s public image without them all the time being aware of it. \u201cSometimes actors don\u2019t even realise how badly their image, popularity, and energy are being damaged outside the vanity van due to the behaviour of the people representing them,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n Towards the top of the note, Aalim revealed that he and his team have taken a firm skilled stand on the difficulty. \u201cWe have now decided to step away from working with actors whose teams disrespect, demean, or mistreat any creative skilled or crew member,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n The post received support from several industry members. Rajkummar Rao commented, \u201cAbsolutely sir.
