\n\tThis system is designed to find the following generation of unscripted storytellers for NBC, Bravo and Peacock. The initiative offers independent creators and producers the chance to pitch original concepts on to NBCUniversal television executives. Applicants don’t need representation.<\/p>\n
\n\tJeanne Mau, Executive Vice President, TV Programming Inclusion, NBCU Launch said, \u201cWe\u2019re focused on expanding access for any and all standout independent creators with daring unscripted ideas.\u201d She added, \u201cThis initiative underscores NBCU Launch\u2019s commitment to the following generation of storytellers and creates a pathway to search out the following breakout unscripted franchise from anywhere.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tAs a part of the initiative, creators are encouraged to submit pitches spanning various genres and formats, including shiny-floor\/in-studio formats, competition formats, social experiments, dating\/relationship formats, character-led docu-soaps, premium true-crime series and documentary series. <\/p>\n
\n\tFive standout pitches will likely be awarded a development deal together with dedicated development support for creators to ready their concepts for greenlight consideration for NBC, Bravo, or Peacock. All projects are being developed by Universal Television Alternative Studio, a division of Universal Studio Group.<\/p>\n
\n\tThe initiative goals to expand the pool to search out the very best ideas, inviting creators in any respect stages to bring forward daring, original ideas. Submissions for the NBCU Launch Unscripted Pitch Accelerator will likely be accepted May 18-June 14 via the NBCU Launch website.<\/p>\n

\n\tPrior to now, NBCU Launch has developed its programs focused on the unscripted space, including the NBCU Launch Unscripted Producers Initiative, which has supported 64 producers in any respect profession levels across greater than 30 NBCU unscripted series, reminiscent of \u201cThe Real Housewives\u201d franchise (Miami, Latest York and Salt Lake City), \u201cLove Island USA,\u201d \u201cThe Valley\u201d and \u201cAmerican Ninja Warrior.\u201d Successful participants have since been invited back for subsequent seasons of their shows, secured roles on other NBCU shows, or advanced to higher positions.
