The Ebola Zaire strain has been outstanding in past outbreaks in Congo.<\/p>\n<p>Results confirming the strain are expected inside 24 hours, the Africa CDC said.<\/p>\n<p>Last yr, the World Health Organization (WHO) said the Congo had stockpiled treatments, including about 2,000 doses of the Ervebo Ebola vaccine. It also spread across countries, starting in Guinea after which moving across land borders to Sierra Leone and Liberia.<\/p>\n<div class=\"c-ad c-ad--bigbox l-article__ad c-ad--tallSticky\">\n<p>Story continues below commercial<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Ebola is extremely contagious and is passed to humans through contact with wild animals akin to fruit bats, porcupines and non-human primates, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/health-topics\/ebola#tab=tab_1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">based on the WHO<\/a>, after which spreads amongst humans primarily through bodily fluids akin to vomit, blood or semen.
