Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr<\/strong> knows the pains of the NBA season all too well, so he channeled Taylor Swift<\/strong> so as to add some levity during an uneven 2022-23 campaign.<\/p>\n

Because the Warriors stumbled to a 44-38 regular season record, Kerr, 60, subtly worked phrases from Swift\u2019s song \u201cAll Too Well\u201d into his press conferences \u2014 and no person noticed.<\/p>\n

Legendary sports journalist Wright Thompson<\/strong> revealed the coach\u2019s secret in a profile published on ESPN.com<\/a> on Thursday, May 14. The four-time NBA championship coach found ways to include the lyrics into his answers after games, with Thompson, 49, using an example from March 2023 when the Warriors beat the Houston Rockets.<\/p>\n

\u201cI walked through the door of the locker room at halftime\u201d were the primary words Kerr uttered when he took the rostrum. The primary line of \u201cAll Too Well\u201d begins with \u201cI walked through the door.\u201d<\/p>\n
