Brooks Marks<\/strong>, star of Bravo\u2019s \u201cNext Gen NYC<\/strong>,\u201d is gearing up for season 2 of the favored reality show. During a brand new interview, Brooks, the son of \u201cThe<\/strong> Real Housewives of Salt Lake City<\/strong>\u201d star Meredith Marks<\/strong>, is revealing what he\u2019s learned most about himself since stepping in front of the camera.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, I mean, I\u2019ve learned that I actually hate confrontation,\u201d Brooks told PEOPLE<\/a> in May 2026. \u201cI feel like I knew I did, but I never recognized how intense my hatred of confrontation was and to the purpose that it was almost hurting me and making situations deeper than they needed to be.\u201d <\/p>\n

Indeed, during season 1 of the fact show, Brooks bumped heads together with his co-star, Charlie Zakkour, after the latter made suggestive comments about hooking up with Brooks\u2019 younger sister, Chloe. The uncomfortable situation, nonetheless, helped Brooks develop a tougher exterior. <\/p>\n

\u201cAnd so I feel prefer it\u2019s helped me overcome that and change into a more confrontational person and made me more direct as well, which I\u2019m grateful for,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n

In a separate interview with Us Weekly<\/a>, Brooks confirmed that the brand new batch of episodes, airing on Bravo June 24, will showcase his relationship together with his boyfriend. <\/p>\n

\u201cI feel you\u2019ll see more about my relationship life in season 2,\u201d he said, adding that it\u2019ll be a bit different for his partner, Kade, since he isn\u2019t within the highlight. <\/p>\n

\u201cMy boyfriend isn\u2019t really in the general public, so it\u2019s definitely a brand new world for him,\u201d Brooks said. \u201cI really like keeping that sacred but, at the tip of the day, I signed up for reality TV.\u201d <\/p>\n

In response to Brooks, being a part of the Bravoverse means baring your soul\u2014even when it\u2019s frightenining. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s all about showing every aspect of our lives,\u201d he said. \u201cI hope that it shows other people what an ideal relationship can appear like.\u201d <\/p>\n
