They’ve $11 million in projected salary cap space and still have to add two or three more forwards. The Stars might want to filter out some salary in the event that they need to bring him back. Potential trade options.<\/p>\n

Radek Faksa<\/a> \u2013 He has two years left at $2 million. He\u2019s a great depth center who kills penalties. He might have surgery after a serious laceration to his foot that he suffered on the Olympics.<\/p>\n

Sam Steel<\/a> \u2013 Has a 12 months left at $2.1 million. A very good penalty killer who put up 12 goals and 21 assists in 73 games.<\/p>\n

NHL Rumors: Philadelphia Flyers, and the Dallas Stars<\/a><\/p>\n

Ilya Lyubushkin<\/a> \u2013 Last 12 months of his deal at $3.25 million. Played in just 53 games last 12 months. A very good depth defenseman, but re-signing Alexander Petrovic<\/a> can be less expensive.<\/p>\n

Tyler Myers<\/a> \u2013 Gave up two picks to get him and has a 12 months left at $1.5 million. He was a healthy scratch for some playoff games after making some costly mistakes. May look to maneuver Lyubushkin over Myers. 12-team no-trade.<\/p>\n
