Randy Orton has been noticeably absent from WWE television since WrestleMania 42, leaving many fans wondering about his status. A brand new report has now make clear the explanation behind his disappearance.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Viper\u201d challenged Cody Rhodes within the essential event of WrestleMania 42 (Night One), a bout full of dramatic moments, blood, and a brutal aftermath. After failing to win the Undisputed WWE Championship, Orton snapped and attacked Rhodes with a punt kick once the match ended.<\/p>\n

While Cody Rhodes has since entered a brand new feud with GUNTHER, Orton has not appeared on WWE programming.<\/p>\n

Dave Meltzer reported on \u201cWrestling Observer Radio\u201d that Orton is currently coping with recurring back problems. These are believed to be connected to the intense injury issues that when put his wrestling future in jeopardy. He said,<\/p>\n

\u201cBack injury, you already know, that\u2019s why he\u2019s been gone since WrestleMania and doubtless why he didn\u2019t win the title. But yeah, he\u2019s got a back injury. It\u2019s significant. I mean, he\u2019s had it for years, and it almost ended his profession, got here back, it\u2019s still there, and that\u2019s why he\u2019s been out.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The previous WWE Champion previously spent nearly a 12 months and a half out of motion before returning at Survivor Series in 2023. Although he was in a position to resume competing, his back issues reportedly proceed to bother him.<\/p>\n

The injury concerns might also be the explanation WWE selected to not have Orton defeat Rhodes for the title at WrestleMania 42.<\/p>\n

UPDATE:<\/strong> Taking to Twitter, Orton wrote, \u201cLmao just milking it guys, leave me alone I\u2019m attempting to enjoy my summer before I come back and take that #15\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
