He just wish to be the best, but he don\u2019t come from the trenches like me. I don\u2019t wish to be the best. I’ll f*** you up, though. It\u2019s a difference.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Davis also questioned Haney\u2019s overall skill set, saying he sees a fighter who does many things well without having one standout weapon.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter which so far as his skills, I feel like he\u2019s only one notch under great. He does every little thing good,\u201d said Keyshawn. \u201cHe don\u2019t don’t have anything great in his arsenal. The whole lot is just okay. That\u2019s good. That\u2019s good. That\u2019s good. Which makes him a very good fighter. But he just not with the elites of the elites.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The comments got here during an appearance on the \u201cWhat\u2019s Up That Podcast,\u201d where Davis spent a big a part of the interview discussing Haney, Gervonta Davis, Shakur Stevenson, and the fallout from missing weight for his canceled fight against Edwin De Los Santos last 12 months.<\/p>\n

Keyshawn said he approached Bill Haney earlier this 12 months about making the fight occur, but believes the opposite side has gone quiet since then.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt’s possible you’ll see the video before. Me and Shakur on the weigh-ins this last fight in January, I walked as much as Bill. Long story short, I\u2019m like, \u2018Yo, we going to fight this 12 months, right?\u2019 He said, \u2018Man, handle your small business.\u2019 I said, \u2018I\u2019mma handle my business. Are we going to fight this 12 months?\u2019 He said, \u2018Just stand in your word after the fight.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Davis then said:<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter the fight, why I\u2019m not fighting Devin immediately? If you wish to call it a duck, call it a duck.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also questioned whether Haney has looked the identical since his loss to Ryan Garcia.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou don\u2019t think he the identical? The world don\u2019t think he the identical.\u201d<\/p>\n

Still, Davis admitted Haney showed toughness by continuing to stand up through the Garcia fight.<\/p>\n

\u201cI give him numerous credit as a fighter. That s*** demanding to come back back from.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The interview drifted into several possible future fights, including matchups with Haney, Conor Benn, Tank Davis, and even influencer-boxing events. Keyshawn repeatedly said he wants the largest fights available and claimed fans are already demanding tougher opposition for him.<\/p>\n
