Before Kyle Busch<\/strong>\u2019s unexpected death, the NASCAR driver spent his final days with family members and competing in his sport.<\/p>\n

NASCAR confirmed that Busch died at age 41 on May 21, 2026, after being hospitalized with a \u201csevere illness.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe’re saddened and heartbroken to share the news of the passing of Kyle Busch, a two-time Cup champion and certainly one of our sport\u2019s biggest and fiercest drivers,\u201d NASCAR said in an announcement via X. \u201cWe extend our deepest condolences to the Busch family, Richard Childress Racing and the whole motorsports community.\u201d<\/p>\n

Busch is survived by wife Samantha in addition to their son, Brexton, 11, and daughter, Lennix, 4.<\/p>\n
