\u201cReal Housewives of Beverly Hills\u201d star Dorit Kemsley<\/strong> was recently accused by her estranged husband, PK Kemsley<\/strong>, of spending upward of $1 million on designer clothing amid their financial duress. Now, weeks later, she\u2019s responding to the claims in a brand new interview.<\/p>\n

Plus, the \u201cRHOBH\u201d star is opening up about her upcoming memoir, \u201cUnburdened.\u201d <\/p>\n

Dorit interviewed with ExtraTV<\/a> in May 2026 to advertise \u201cUnburdened.\u201d Through the conversation, the host asked her if her husband\u2019s claims were true about spending \u201c$1 million on clothing and travel.\u201d In response, the \u201cRHOBH\u201d fan-favorite began, \u201cNo.\u201d<\/p>\n

She then elaborated, explaining, \u201cThis has been a court document that\u2019s been filed. Obviously, I\u2019m going to have a response to it.\u201d After that, she stated, \u201cI believe there will probably be answers to all the things,\u201d regarding her legal response to her estranged husband.<\/p>\n

Dorit then defended herself, saying, \u201cBut whenever you hear one version or narrative, there\u2019s at all times one other side. Do I really like fashion? Yes. Do I spend plenty of money on clothes? Expensive clothes, designer clothes? Yes.\u201d<\/p>\n

She went on to call her spending \u201cher alternative,\u201d saying, \u201cIt\u2019s also my money.\u201d Dorit added, \u201cIt\u2019s my money that I earned, that I worked for. Not his money.<\/p>\n

Later within the ExtraTV interview, the reporter questioned Dorit Kemsley about her claims that she was blindsided by the status of their Encino mansion. For context, she previously stated that she was unaware that her estranged husband had missed several mortgage payments and only learned about it shortly before the general public did.<\/p>\n

When asked when she realized PK wasn\u2019t paying the bills, she responded, \u201cWell, the mortgage. Listen, PK, and I had an agreement once we separated. She then said that although there was \u201cno communication,\u201d she expected him to still adhere to their arrangement.<\/p>\n

Dorit added, \u201cEven spending. You spend what you might be planning. So, I didn\u2019t plan for the mortgage not being paid, and it was never dropped at my attention. I used to be never told, \u2018Dorit, I\u2019m not going to pay the mortgage.’\u201d<\/p>\n

After that, she revealed that they were \u201cmonths within the rear\u201d when she learned of the foreclosure. The reporter also asked if PK ever warned her to \u201crein it in\u2019 as he was having money troubles. She stated that he didn’t ask her to spend less.<\/p>\n

In May 2026, TMZ<\/em><\/a> obtained court documents through which Dorit Kemsley accused the \u201cRHOBH\u201d star of excessive spending. Per the filing, the businessman asked someone on his legal team to look into the spending. They then discovered that she had spent over $1 million on luxury items.<\/p>\n

That total includes $995k for designer clothing, handbags, and other items. Regarding the breakdown of spending, the documents show $69k went to Louis Vuitton, $69k to Chanel, and one other $38k to Herm\u00e8s. Other high-end stores she frequented were Net-A-Porter, FWRD, and Moda Operandi. <\/p>\n

The \u201cRHOBH\u201d star opened up in regards to the recent memoir in her ExtraTV interview, revealing how she named it.<\/p>\n

In accordance with her, \u201cWell, once I was chatting with the publisher, and I used to be telling her about where I’m in life, where I used to be, and I had said, \u2018I just really feel like I must be unburdened,\u2019 and she or he said, \u2018That\u2019s the title of your book.’\u201d<\/p>\n
