The primary pictures from the Maldives cave where six people have died have been released. <\/p>\n

Five Italians on a research trip were killed during a\u00a0dive\u00a0into the 160 ft deep \u2018shark\u00a0cave\u2019 within the Devana Kandu cave system last week.<\/p>\n

Images published by Dan Europe reveal the underwater passages before natural light diminishes and the tunnels are plunged into darkness. <\/p>\n

The bodies of ecology professor Monica Montefalcone, her daughter Giorgia Sommacal, researcher Muriel Oddenino, and marine biologist Federico Gualtieri have all been recovered. <\/p>\n

They were accompanied by diving instructor Gianluca Benedetti, whose body was found last week.<\/p>\n

In total six people have been killed as a part of the cave dive, with Maldivian military rescue diver Mohamed Mahudhee dying from decompression illness on Saturday during a recovery mission.<\/p>\n

Sharing the photographs on Instagram, diving organisation Dan Europe said: \u2018Natural light still filters through the doorway before the system descends into darkness.\u2019 <\/p>\n

The professional-divers found the Italians in a corridor with a dead-end inside, Italy\u2019s every day newspaper La Repubblica reported. <\/p>\n

The corporate\u2019s CEO said: \u2018There was no way out from there,.\u2019<\/p>\n

Near the doorway to the cave there may be a really large and shiny cavern with a sandy bottom, with a corridor at the top. <\/p>\n

The corridor has little light but \u2018visibility, using artificial lighting, was excellent\u2019, the CEO said. <\/p>\n

It was 30 metres long , resulting in a second chamber which is large but has no natural light. <\/p>\n

This corridor is simply just a few metres long, but was where the divers\u2019 bodies were discovered. <\/p>\n

Marroni said: \u2018The divers\u2019 bodies were all found inside, as in the event that they had mistaken it for the fitting one.\u2019<\/p>\n
