The legendary actor already had a 50-year profession in Hollywood \u2014 including playing Dustin Hoffman\u2019s father in 1967\u2019s The Graduate and voicing [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Daniels notably portrayed Cory\u2019s neighbor and teacher, Mr. Feeny, who followed the friend group through highschool and college. Feeny ultimately married Dean Lila Bolander (played by his real-life wife Bartlett) in the ultimate season.<\/p>\n
Based on Bartlett, Daniels was a \u201cpositive influence\u201d to the young actors.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe never told them what to do, but they learned quite a bit just from watching him \u2026 learn how to behave, what’s serious,\u201d Bartlett told Page Six<\/i>. \u201c, with kids, it\u2019s all a joke, it\u2019s all funny. I feel [Bill] introduced them to the seriousness of responsibility.\u201d<\/p>\n
Within the years since BMW <\/i>ended, Daniels remained close<\/span> to his former costars although Savage, 45, seemingly distanced himself from the remainder of the TV family.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>

There\u2019s no falling out. There was no animosity. He just woke up someday, and decided \u2018I don\u2019t want this person in my life anymore.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Based on Friedle, he tried to initiate contact with Savage for months before giving up.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve known him since he was 11 years old, and now we have a shared history. And we were doing these conventions together, and we were attending to know one another as adults, after which he just sort of went, \u2018I\u2019m done with you,\u2019\u201d Friedle alleged. \u201cI attempted and tried and tried for months, until finally my wife was like, \u2018Why are you doing this to yourself? He obviously doesn\u2019t want you in his life.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
Friedle now hosts a \u201cPod Meets World\u201d recap podcast with former costars Fishel, 45, and Strong, 46. Friedle and Strong also supported Fishel during her stint on Dancing With the Stars <\/i>last 12 months, through which Daniels even made a cameo.<\/p>\n
Savage, for his part, has not publicly discussed his rumored BMW <\/i>estrangement.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
