Mike White<\/strong> is bringing a little bit of \u201cSurvivor<\/strong>\u201d magic to \u201cThe White Lotus<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n Some members of \u201cSurvivor\u201d Season 50 are set to make cameo appearances within the HBO series, as the author confirmed during a virtual chat with host Jeff Probst through the season finale.<\/p>\n White first competed on \u201cSurvivor\u201d in Season 37 before returning for the landmark 50th<\/sup> season, where he was eventually eliminated. The director has also previously featured former contestants, including fan-favorite Cirie Fields, in cameo roles on \u201cThe White Lotus.\u201d<\/p>\n \t\t<\/p>\n During a video chat on the \u201cSurvivor 50\u201d finale on Wednesday, Mike White, the creator of the award-winning series \u201cThe White Lotus,\u201d revealed that some contestants from the fact competition show will make cameo appearances within the upcoming installment of the drama series.<\/p>\n White made the revelation to host Jeff Probst, noting that Charlie Davis and Kamilla Karthigesu were the lucky picks to hitch the forged for \u201cThe White Lotus\u201d Season 4, per Variety<\/a>.<\/p>\n The choice continues what appears to be White\u2019s tradition of featuring former \u201cSurvivor\u201d players within the series. He previously gave cameo roles to contestants similar to Cirie Fields, Angelina Keeley, and Christian Hubicki.<\/p>\n The tradition of \u201cSurvivor\u201d contestants appearing in \u201cThe White Lotus\u201d began with Alec Merlino, who made a cameo appearance within the drama\u2019s first season.<\/p>\n The \u201cSurvivor: David vs Goliath\u201d alum portrayed Hutch, a waiter and bartender on the White Lotus Maui resort. So far, he has had the most important cameo from a \u201cSurvivor\u201d player, appearing in five episodes of Season 1.<\/p>\n Speaking about his appearance on the show, Merlino said he didn’t think an excessive amount of about what he was stepping into when White approached him for the role.<\/p>\n \u201cI used to be identical to, \u2018Yeah, that sounds cool.\u2019 I didn\u2019t really know what I used to be stepping into,\u201d the fact star told Access Hollywood<\/a> in March 2025.<\/p>\n In Season 2, Angelina Keeley and Kara Kay made cameo appearances on \u201cThe White Lotus,\u201d with Keeley playing a hotel guest and Kay appearing as a beachgoer.<\/p>\n Keeley previously told Access Hollywood that she had tried to avoid appearing on the show due to her poor acting skills, but White convinced her it will be \u201cgoing to be fun.\u201d<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Kay once said she was surprised that White gave her a task with lines, as she had initially assumed she would simply appear within the background \u201cwaving\u201d or sipping margaritas.<\/p>\n \u201cWe got a draft of the script and realized, oh, we’ve lines, we\u2019re going to say something.
