The much-awaited film Peddi<\/em> is all set to release on June 4 and its makers have accomplished the censor process way upfront. On this story, Bollywood Hungama will feature on the cuts given to the Pan-India entertainer\u2019s original Telugu version.<\/p>\n BREAKING: CBFC censors \u2018Rajasthan\u2019, \u2018M***r C**d\u2019, middle finger visuals in Ram Charan-Janhavi Kapoor starrer Peddi<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Peddi<\/em> was passed by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with a U\/A 16+ certificate. Nevertheless, the makers were asked to make several changes. Words like \u2018Loudesh\u2019, \u2018Bokka\u2019, \u2018Lambdi kodaka\u2019, \u2018M***r C**d\u2019, \u2018Dongamunda kodaka\u2019<\/em> and \u2018Kalchi padi denguta\u2019<\/em> were asked to be muted or modified. The words \u2018Saruku saman\u2019 within the \u2018Chikiri Chikiri\u2019 song were asked to be modified. Within the second half, the word \u2018Rajasthan\u2019 and a reference to a community were asked to be deleted.<\/p>\n Thankfully, no visual cut was imposed on the film. In other words, the motion and violent scenes remain intact. The one modification requested was to cover the shot of the center finger with CG visuals.<\/p>\n Once these changes were made, the makers of Peddi<\/em> were handed over the censor certificate on May 22. The length of the film, as mentioned on the censor certificate, is 189.00 minutes. In other words, Peddi<\/em> is 3 hours and 9 minutes long.<\/p>\n Peddi<\/em> stars Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu, Boman Irani and others. It’s written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru and co-produced by Ishan Saksena. Oscar-winning A R Rahman has composed the songs. Jio Studios will handle the North India distribution. It\u2019ll also release within the IMAX format.<\/p>\n On the trailer launch, Ram Charan said, \u201cLast 25-30 days, we were doing kushti<\/em> and pehelwan<\/em> shoots. And I asked our director Buchi Babu Sana to get trained artists, but he got real pehelwans<\/em>. While shooting, I got a cartilage tear, but that\u2019s positive.
