Matt Lauria<\/strong> addressed the possibilities of a Kingdom<\/em> reunion despite him being booked and busy with Sheriff Country<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat wouldn’t it take to get me to do one other to do more Kingdom? It will take a phone call,\u201d Lauria, 43, exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em>. \u201cThat\u2019s it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lauria said he would reunite together with his costars \u201cin a heartbeat\u201d \u2014 but there’s one condition.<\/p>\n

\u201cGive me six weeks to try to get the six-pack back,\u201d he joked. \u201cI\u2019m older than after we began. That was in 2014 so 12 years have passed by. But so far as I can tell, everybody\u2019s still in shape and everybody remains to be very lively. We could pull it off in a heartbeat.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kingdom<\/em>, which aired from 2014 to 2017, was a gritty drama that followed a retired MMA fighter attempting to keep his mixed martial arts gym afloat while managing the volatile lives and private demons of his sons and his fighters. Along with Lauria, the series starred Frank Grillo, Kiele Sanchez, Jonathan Tucker, Nick Jonas<\/strong> and Joanna Going<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI bumped into Byron Balasco, who\u2019s now a part of the CBS and Paramount family because he\u2019s writing on one in all the NCIS shows,\u201d Lauria told Us<\/em> concerning the reunion with Kingdom\u2019s coshowrunner. \u201cWe type of mumbled a couple of reunion and it doesn\u2019t seem to be anybody\u2019s against it. It was one in all the highlights of all of our careers \u2014 when it comes to the experience we had.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lauria isn\u2019t the just one with a passion for the show\u2019s return. Grillo, 60, recently told Us<\/em> he was just as ready to return back.<\/p>\n

\u201cByron Balasco and Jonathan Tucker and I were just on a three-way [call],\u201d Grillo shared in September 2025 \u201cWe were attempting to work out how we could possibly \u2014 I\u2019m not kidding \u2014 put it together.\u201d<\/p>\n

The trio want to \u201cprovide you with some ideas\u201d and \u201cget the band back together\u201d to \u201csee if we could finish an eight-episode run,\u201d Grillo teased. \u201cWe actually talked about that.\u201d<\/p>\n

For now, Lauria is worked up to maintain filming Sheriff Country<\/em> where he plays the lovable Boone.<\/p>\n

\u201cBoone is embracing Edgewater for all that it’s,\u201d he noted. \u201cThat\u2019s been the central journey for Boone, and I believe that\u2019s also what allowed him to essentially explore internally and confront his feelings for Mickey. Because normally, that will be a tough line for him to not cross.\u201d<\/p>\n
