Bruce Cassidy: \u201cNo, it\u2019s upsetting. I\u2019m going to be honest, because when you\u2019re fired, you realize your contracts mainly terminated.<\/p>\n

However the one thing people don\u2019t realize is all of the deals, you realize, they got the NHL bylaws, this and that, and I don\u2019t know everyone, but you realize, you’ve gotten non-compete clauses. So I can\u2019t resign today and go work for somebody tomorrow. I\u2019m still, I can\u2019t work until Vegas gives me permission, till this contract\u2019s up, which is at the top of next season.<\/p>\n

So you realize, for those who resign, all I do shouldn’t be receives a commission. So, I mean, I got green fees to deal with.\u201d<\/p>\n
