On a Macklin Celebrini extension and pending RFA Connor Bedard<\/strong><\/h2>\n

NHL Media<\/strong><\/a>: David Pagnotta, on NHL Network, when asked in regards to the contract situations for San Jose Sharks Macklin Celebrini, who’s extension eligible, and Chicago Blackhawks Connor Bedard, who’s a pending RFA.<\/p>\n

Erika Watcher: \u201cMacklin Celebrini, he\u2019s following up that incredible yr two, and now he\u2019s leading Canada at the lads\u2019s World Championships. Any early rumblings on what you’re thinking that an extension could appear to be for him?\u201d<\/p>\n

Pagnotta: \u201cYeah, he\u2019s eligible to sign an extension July one. And yeah, there\u2019s definitely going to be a whole lot of eyes on him and among the other pending restricted free agents that you just guys had listed earlier which might be due for contracts.<\/p>\n

NHL Rumors: Sabres, Devils, and the Canucks<\/p>\n

He still has one other yr, so there\u2019s no immediate rush, but they’re going to be monitoring the situation. I feel considered one of the blokes they\u2019re going to be taking a look at as a possible comparison is Connor Bedard, and what happens together with his contract in Chicago.<\/p>\n
