Just weeks before she gave birth, J.Lo\u2019s dad David Lopez<\/strong> confirmed his middle daughter was expecting not one, but two babies. \u201cYes, twins\u2026The thing is in my family, my sister also had twins, so it\u2019s a hereditary thing,\u201d he said on Spanish-language show Esc\u00e9ndalo TV<\/em>. \u201cI\u2019m very proud. Jennifer has yearned to be a mother for a few years.\u201d<\/p>\nThe\u00a0This Is Me\u2026Then\u00a0<\/em>singer gave birth to Max and Emme on February 22, 2008 in Long Island, N.Y. The world waited just 4 short weeks for the primary glimpse at the gorgeous twins, who were featured on a March 2008 cover of\u00a0PEOPLE\u00a0<\/em>magazine in a worldwide exclusive.<\/p>\nYears later, Jennifer reflected on checking out she has having twins in a YouTube video dubbed Twin Talk with a then 11-year-old Max and Emme.\u00a0\u201cWhen I noticed I used to be pregnant, I used to be in Portugal. I used to be doing an enormous show and I had just went away for 2 days. Once I sat there, I used to be in my hair and makeup trailer, and here\u2019s what I felt,\u201d she said to them. \u201cIn my belly, I felt a flutter. I just laughed out loud, I couldn\u2019t consider it. And that\u2019s how I came upon I used to be having twins.\u201d<\/p>\n
Max and Emme \u2018Oskar\u2019 through the years<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\nThe \u201ccoconuts\u201d (Jen\u2019s nickname for them) have grown up within the highlight, often being photographed with their superstar mom and her various romantic partners, including ex-boyfriend Casper Smart<\/strong>, who she dated from 2011 to 2016, ex-fianc\u00e9 Alex Rodriguez<\/strong>, who she was with from 2017 \u2013 2021, and rekindled beau Ben Affleck<\/strong>, who she reunited with in 2021.<\/p>\nNotably, Max and Emme were very near Alex\u2019s daughters Natasha<\/strong>, 16, and Ella<\/strong>, 13, who they were often pictured with in media and on their mom\u2019s social media channels.
