That is my home club, and I\u2019m hugely proud to represent it. I\u2019ve learned a lot over the previous couple of years and I\u2019m enthusiastic about what\u2019s ahead.<\/p>\n \u201c<\/strong>We\u2019ve got a superb group of players and staff here, and I\u2019m determined to maintain improving and help the club compete for more trophies over the following few seasons.\u201d<\/p>\n The 24-year-old is thought for his audacious ramps and scoops, whilst also becoming established with the gloves within the shorter formats of the sport.<\/p>\n Albert made his First-Class debut against the Sri Lanka Development XI in 2022, where he scored an unbeaten 69, and made his County Championship debut on loan at Kent in July 2023.<\/p>\n In only his fourth Championship game for Hampshire, Albert scored 114 against then-champions Surrey on the Utilita Bowl \u2013 his maiden skilled century \u2013 because the hosts recorded a mammoth victory by an innings and 278 runs.<\/p>\n He would rating a second 100 against Essex later that very same season.<\/p>\n In 50-over cricket, Albert has made his mark in the center order, scoring five half-centuries in 24 matches, including a better of 96 not out against Somerset in 2024.<\/p>\n His maiden fifty within the format got here in a match-winning innings against Derbyshire in 2022, as his unbeaten 84 helped Hampshire to a nervy two-wicket win.<\/p>\n Giles White, Hampshire\u2019s Director of Cricket, said: \u201cToby has turn into an integral a part of the squad and embodies every thing this club stands for.
