MEGAWORLD CORP. recorded reservation sales of P29.7 billion in the primary quarter, up 10.4% from a yr earlier, supported by sustained demand across Metro Manila and provincial residential projects.<\/p>\n
Megaworld President and Chief Executive Officer Lourdes T. Gutierrez-Alfonso said the corporate\u2019s residential segment remained resilient despite a difficult operating environment.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur residential business continues to indicate strong resilience, led by regular sales across our Metro Manila developments and growing demand for our provincial properties,\u201d she said in a press release on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Residential developments accounted for about 71% of total reservation sales, or P21.2 billion, underscoring continued reliance on the segment because the group\u2019s primary growth driver.<\/p>\n
Uptown Modern in Uptown Bonifacio contributed about P3 billion in sales through the quarter. The 54-storey condominium in Taguig can have 1,053 units and is scheduled for turnover in July 2031.<\/span><\/p>\n Other Metro Manila projects that posted strong sales included Park McKinley West in Taguig and One Crown Suites at Winford Resort Estate in Manila.<\/p>\n Provincial developments also supported overall performance. These included Ilocandia Beach Village in Ilocos Norte, Maple Grove Park Village in Cavite, Sant\u00e9 Residences Palawan in San Vicente, Firenze in Iloilo Business Park and La Victoria Global Residences in Cebu.<\/p>\n The corporate said sustained demand reflects continued strength in its township model, which integrates residential, business and lifestyle components inside masterplanned estates.<\/p>\n Megaworld also expanded its provincial pipeline through the period with the launch of more projects. Sant\u00e9 Residences Palawan, a 14-storey condominium and the Philippines\u2019 first WELL-certified residential development, is predicted to generate about P6.5 billion in sales.<\/p>\n The corporate also introduced Ilocandia Beach Village, a 19.4-hectare beachfront estate in Ilocos Norte projected to contribute about P4 billion in sales.<\/p>\n Megaworld said provincial expansion stays a key strategy as demand shifts beyond Metro Manila toward emerging growth corridors.<\/p>\n The corporate is developing The Sugartown in Talisay, Negros Occidental, its 37th<\/sup> township and the third within the Negros Island region.<\/p>\n Megaworld now has greater than 37 townships covering over 7,000 hectares nationwide, together with greater than 800 residential projects.
