told CNN<\/a> he had contemplated coming forward roughly 10 months before Combs\u2019 girlfriend of a decade, singer Cassie Ventura, filed the civil case that eventually helped trigger last summer\u2019s federal trial \u2014 and which Ventura settled for $20 million the day after it was filed.<\/p>\n\n\tHay\u2019s allegations first surfaced in a civil suit filed anonymously in July against Combs, Wallace, and others, by which Hay claimed they \u201cconspired\u201d with the powerful mogul to \u201callow or assist in Combs\u2019 ability to perform\u201d the alleged sexual battery. Wallace responded with a defamation suit against Hay, claiming Hay was upset that music recorded in 2020 was never released by the Notorious B.I.G.\u2019s estate.<\/p>\n
\n\tResponding to the D.A.\u2019s office decision this week, Hay said in a press release that he’s pleased the case is moving forward.<\/p>\n
\n\t\u201cStanding as a survivor of the actions involving Sean Diddy Combs and Christopher CJ Wallace, I view the validation of my accounts by the LAPD and the Los Angeles County District Attorney\u2019s Office as a critical juncture,\u201d he said. \u201cThis development represents a considerable advancement in my pursuit of complete accountability. Justice is prevailing.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tCombs has denied the allegations in Hay\u2019s suit and all other claims against him. Along with this potential L.A. indictment, he faces roughly 70 civil complaints related to his alleged conduct over time, most involving claims of drugging and sexual assault.<\/p>\n
\n\tCombs and Ventura, who haven’t been a pair for nearly a decade, are named together in considered one of those cases. Sex employee Clayton Howard, whom the couple allegedly hired, claims abuse by each Ventura and Combs. Howard alleges in his criticism that he impregnated Ventura during a drug-fueled encounter and contracted a sexually transmitted infection after participating in a \u201cfreak-off\u201d with the couple.<\/p>\n
\n\tIn a declaration requesting that Howard\u2019s legal motion be transferred from L.A. to Recent York, Ventura revealed she has left the country, stating: \u201cI’m not a resident of the State of California. I reside outside of the US. I don’t intend to maneuver back to the US.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tVentura has also filed a countersuit against Wallace, denying his claims.<\/p>\n
\n\tIn July, a jury found Combs guilty of two federal counts of transportation to interact in prostitution; he was acquitted of the more serious charges of racketeering and sex trafficking. In October, he was sentenced to 50 months in prison, which he’s serving in Recent Jersey while his attorneys appeal the case.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
