D\u00edaz-Canel, together with 4 other individuals, in accordance with a filing Thursday on the U.S. Treasury Department website.<\/p>\n<p>Included within the sanctions are Alejandro Castro Esp\u00edn, the son of former President Ra\u00fal Castro.<\/p>\n<p>The sanctions come after U.S. President Donald Trump signed an executive order expanding sanctions against the island.<\/p>\n<div imposed sanctions against heads of state or government and their relatives.<\/p>\n<p>The U.S. hit former Sudanese President Omar Bashir and former Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe within the early
