Princess Kate Middleton<\/strong> selected to handle her ongoing cancer battle in her own time.<\/p>\n

Kate\u2019s last official public appearance before taking a break was in December 2023. One month later, Kensington Palace confirmed that Kate wouldn\u2019t be involved in any royal engagements until after April on the earliest as a consequence of a planned abdominal surgery.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe surgery was successful, and it is predicted that she’s going to remain in hospital for ten to 14 days, before returning home to proceed her recovery,\u201d read an announcement shared via the palace\u2019s official X account on the time. \u201cBased on the present medical advice, she is unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter.\u201d<\/p>\n

The palace stated on the time that Kate was focused on her health.<\/p>\n

Buckingham Palace announced in February 2024 that King Charles III received a cancer diagnosis one week after he was admitted to The London Clinic to undergo treatment for an enlarged prostate. \u201cDuring The King\u2019s recent hospital procedure [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

She hopes that the general public will understand her desire to take care of as much normality for her children as possible; and her wish that her personal medical information stays private,\u201d the statement continued. \u201cThe Princess of Wales wishes to apologize to all those concerned for the incontrovertible fact that she has to postpone her upcoming engagements. She looks forward to reinstating as many as possible, as soon as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n

As a result of Kate remaining out of the general public eye, the general public grew concerned about her wellbeing. A source previously told Us Weekly<\/em> that Kate wasn\u2019t in a rush to share details regarding her break from royal duties.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s been resting up and having fun with plenty of visits from Prince William and the youngsters,\u201d the insider said, noting that Kate \u201cmay disclose more information sooner or later.\u201d<\/p>\n

In March, Kate released a video that confirmed her cancer diagnosis, saying, \u201cIn January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London, and on the time, it was thought that my condition was noncancerous. Nonetheless, tests after the operation found cancer had been present.\u201d<\/p>\n

The news of Kate\u2019s diagnosis got here one month after King Charles III<\/strong> announced that he was battling cancer.<\/p>\n
