Kyle Richards<\/strong> is throwing her support behind her sister, Kathy Hilton<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Posting via her Instagram Story<\/a> on Friday, June 5, Richards, 57, defended HIlton, 67, after she stepped down because the grand marshal of the West Hollywood Pride Parade attributable to backlash from the LGBTQIA+ community.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy sister Kathy has at all times been a supporter of the LGBTQIA+ community and can proceed to be,\u201d Richards wrote within the post. \u201cSo far as \u2018MAGA ties\u2019, simply because you might be acquainted with or related to or related to someone up to now or present, doesn’t mean you share their political opinions.\u201d<\/p>\n

Richards continued, \u201cThe WeHo Pride Parade is a glad celebratory day. I respect my sister\u2019s decision for not wanting to be a distraction on a day that belongs to the LGBTQIA+ community. Joyful Pride!\u201d<\/p>\n

Much of the criticism of Hilton\u2019s was round her past association with President Donald Trump<\/strong>. Although she has never shared whether she has voted for Trump, 79, Kathy and her husband, Rick Hilton<\/strong>, socialized with the Trumps up to now.<\/p>\n

Hilton announced on Wednesday, June 3, that she would relinquish her role within the annual pride parade.<\/p>\n
