Vampire Survivors is getting a brand new expansion called Legacy of the Bloodmoon, which developer poncle revealed during today\u2019s Future Games Show Summer Showcase. The studio is billing it because the darkest expansion to this point and the evil twin to the sport\u2019s first add-on, Legacy of the Moonspell, leaning right into a grim story a few doomsday cult. It\u2019s due out this summer on PlayStation, XBOX, Switch, mobile, and PC, mainly in every single place Vampire Survivors already is.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s also a weapon simply named FireBall, which poncle pokes fun at in the sport\u2019s usual tongue-in-cheek style, plus eight recent music tracks to round out the soundtrack. It keeps up a gradual run of post-launch content for the 2022 roguelite, which has stacked up crossover collaborations and free updates through the years.<\/p>\n
The expansion is poncle\u2019s latest move in a busy stretch for the studio, whose most up-to-date release was the deckbuilding spin-off Vampire Crawlers. We got here away mixed on that one in our review: a straightforward advice at $9.99, but a more basic experience than we expected, with the pull fading well before we were done.<\/p>\n
