Detroit Red Wings GM <\/strong>Steve Yzerman has a listing of teams for Dylan Larkin, but he doesn\u2019t must move him<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Pierre LeBrun of The Athletic<\/strong><\/a>: Steve Yzerman has had some success in trading players which have asked for a trade, and getting a superb return with not quite a lot of leverage \u2013 Martin St. Louis<\/a> and Jonathan Drouin<\/a>. Dylan Larkin<\/a>\u2018s camp didn\u2019t want this info on the market, and plenty of teams didn\u2019t see it coming.<\/p>\n

One GM: \u201cPuts Detroit in a troublesome place. They don\u2019t must trade him. He signed the contract and got the total trade protection.\u201d<\/p>\n

Consider that Yzerman was given a listing of teams, but that may at all times change. Obvious suits for Larkin are the Los Angeles Kings, Minnesota Wild, Montreal Canadiens, Boston Bruins, and possibly the Dallas Stars if Jason Robertson<\/a> isn\u2019t prolonged. 12-15 teams will inquire.<\/p>\n

The Boston Bruins could use someone like Dylan Larkin, but there are several issues<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic<\/strong><\/a>: Dylan Larkin carries an $8.7 million cap through 2031, and turns 30 at the tip of July. He\u2019s friends with David Pastrnak<\/a> and played within the Olympics with Charlie McAvoy<\/a> and Jeremy Swayman<\/a>. The Bruins could use a No. 1 center, but there are issues holding up a possible trade to the Bruins.<\/p>\n

Larkin desires to win, and there are several teams which can be further along than the Bruins, so would he waive his no-trade clause? With five years left on his contract, Red Wings GM doesn\u2019t must move Larkin if he doesn\u2019t get what he wants. The teams are division rivals and Yzerman may prefer to see him within the Western Conference. The Bruins\u2019 greater need could also be improving their blue line.<\/p>\n

NHL Rumors: A Change of Scenary, and Some Dylan Larkin Musings<\/a><\/p>\n

Yzerman will likely be in search of an enormous return, and might the Bruins compete with other teams? The Bruins could offer up Pavel Zacha<\/a>, Mason Lohrei<\/a>, Dean Letourneau and the No. 23 selection in 2026. The Red Wings wouldn\u2019t do this without knowing if Zacha would sign an extension \u2013 he has a yr left.<\/p>\n
