And so, like, I don\u2019t have an issue with anybody taking longer for those who get the appropriate person. I believe, Mike, it looks the one thing I\u2019m really conscious of is I don\u2019t know all the things. I do know bits and pieces. So I believe it looks erratic to us on the skin, but until you get a full picture, I don\u2019t know if it\u2019s erratic because it appears.<\/p>\n

Like, I, there was a time yesterday morning, where I believed Saturday morning, where I believed they were going to rent Peter Laviolette. And now I believe there\u2019s a good likelihood that Peter Laviolette finally ends up being the following head coach of the Kings.<\/p>\n

Johnson: \u201cAre you able to even name 55 coaching candidates on the market? That\u2019s an enormous number.\u201d<\/p>\n

Friedman: \u201cAs one in every of my friends said, like I can\u2019t even name 55 individuals who would need to refer to you. And, and I believe they did zooms with like 15 or 16. And now it sounds to me like we\u2019re gonna get a smaller group, three, five, I don\u2019t know what, and we\u2019ll see where we go.<\/p>\n

Like, like I do think they talked to Patrick Roy. Like, so that they, one in every of the blokes who scouts for them is Eric Lacroix, who knows Patrick Roy rather well, so that they would have anyone on staff who knows.<\/p>\n

But I\u2019m sure there\u2019s.. I, I don\u2019t think they ever interviewed Woodcroft. I believe they considered it, and I don\u2019t think they ever did. They, I don\u2019t know if\u00a0 they \u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

Johnson: \u201cThey went 55 deep, and so they didn\u2019t need to go to Jay Woodcroft?\u201d<\/p>\n

Demers: \u201c56 is simply too much.\u201d<\/p>\n

Friedman: \u201cYou understand, I believe, I believe they considered it, but decided to not. And I don\u2019t think they\u2019ve asked on (Bruce) Cassidy. I believe they\u2019re type of just, I believe everybody\u2019s here just type of waiting to see. Like, like Vegas is making noise behind the scenes, like they\u2019re not going to alter their minds. I assume everyone\u2019s just waiting to see.\u201d<\/p>\n
