Aldrin Suan, National Youth Commission Chair Jeff Ortega and Department of Education Undersecretary Malcolm Garma.<\/p>\n<p>The PSC said Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla has assured the panel of an official report from the Philippine National Police in Aurora. Findings from the discussions will likely be coordinated with the PNP and the Department of Justice.<\/p>\n<p>In Camp Crame, Remulla told reporters that the police\u2019s Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) will release a report on the drowning incident soon.<\/p>\n<h2>Mother\u2019s grief<\/h2>\n<p>In a series of Facebook posts, Baterbonia\u2019s mother, Rovelyn, expressed grief and frustration over what she said was a lack of know-how provided to the family.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWherever we go, we&#8217;ll carry memories of you that no amount of cash can ever replace,\u201d she wrote in Filipino. \u201cI still hope that when your father and I arrive, you\u2019ll get up and start a second chapter of your life, son.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She also said she had not personally seen her son\u2019s stays when news of his death began circulating online.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI still haven\u2019t seen my son\u2019s body,\u201d she wrote. \u201cNobody has shown me any proof that he is admittedly gone. To date, we still haven&#8217;t been told exactly what happened or where my son is.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rovelyn also questioned the character of the activity, saying she was unaware her son could be participating in a training camp much like the offseason \u201cboot camp\u201d discussed by former Ateneo player Mike Nieto in a podcast interview.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the event that they had told us about this type of training, I might never have allowed my son to go,\u201d she wrote. \u201cWe weren&#8217;t informed about it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Pineda said it was not the primary time that the Ateneo basketball team, along with its coaching staff and trainers, held a team-building exercise within the resort in Aurora.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUp to now years, they already had activities in the identical resort as well, that\u2019s why we predict they know the situation in that area.
