Elvish Yadav has called out Pranit More for supporting a problematic and misogynistic joke made by an audience member at his recent show. During a show in Gurugram, web developer Himanshu Jangra claimed that after spending Rs 370 on chicken biryani for a lady, he expected a \u201creturn\u201d on that investment in the shape of physical intimacy.<\/p>\n

Kusha Kapila also shared a series of videos on Instagram, emphasising that accountability doesn’t stop with the person remarking. She said, \u201cBut jo mere audience ke views hain, wo mere views nahin hai? Ho sakte hain agar aap usko clip karke uski reel daalenge. Uss par editor ne kaam kiya hai, us par yeh socha gaya hai ki usko 90 second ki clip kaise banayi jaaye.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cJab sab hai, to aap kaise keh sakte hain ki aapke views reflect nahin hote hain? Agar aap un views ko badhava de rahe hain, shabashi de rahe hain, to wo to aapke bhi views hain.\u201d <\/em>Kusha also argued that content creators have a responsibility to call out harmful behaviour as an alternative of amplifying it.<\/p>\n

Dolly Singh Breaks Silence<\/h3>\n

Reacting to the controversy, influencer Dolly Singh shared an in depth note on social media, addressing male comedians and content creators and calling for greater accountability. She wrote, \u201cIn case you can act all mature, open-minded, women-respecting (saying you\u2019re a feminist ally could be a stretch) in your sets and overall media footprint, please not less than attempt to act the identical performative act in your crowdwork and Instagram too!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
