Connor McDavid pondering long-term in Edmonton?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Bleed Oil Blue<\/strong><\/a>: Bob Stauffer said on Sportsnet The Fan 590, that Edmonton Oilers forward Connor McDavid<\/a> will eventually extend with the Oilers for seven more years.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think there\u2019s anybody more committed to Edmonton than Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl<\/a>\u2026 I expect the subsequent contract to be a seven-year extension.\u201d<\/p>\n

Utah is focused on Sebastian Cossa, the Rangers could move Brett Berard, and the Senators are eyeing a backup<\/strong><\/h2>\n

He\u2019s got an $8.75 million cap hit through 2030-31, and has averaged 32 goals and 70 points over the past five seasons.<\/p>\n

The Red Wings would likely want the Panthers No. 9 pick within the draft. Because the Red Wings need to win now, they\u2019re going to want some immediate help. Corey Pronman and Max Bultman got here up with the No. 9, Luostarinen and prospect Sandis Vilmanis<\/a>. Would likely take more to make a divisional trade.<\/p>\n
