George Clooney<\/strong> has solid his lot with a specific actor for the highly coveted role of James Bond<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The Hollywood veteran, known for his acting and directorial achievements, recently weighed in on the subsequent agent 007. And [audiences] won\u2019t [all] go for a black male, an African male, playing Bond. That\u2019s not what they like of their culture. Period,\u201d Elba explained. Despite arguing that a black person shouldn\u2019t play the predominantly white character, Elba modified his tune for one more movie.<\/p>\n The veteran actor landed the a part of Man-at-Arms in 2026\u2019s \u201cMasters of the Universe,\u201d a cartoon character known for its ginger mustache. Elba joked that the character looked nothing like him, but he didn’t mind taking the role because \u201cMan-At-Arms could possibly be any color! He\u2019s got green legs, for God\u2019s sake!\u201d<\/p>\n While Elba believes a Black man shouldn\u2019t be the subsequent Bond, Craig, then again, isn\u2019t bothered. In a 2024 interview with Variety<\/a>, the actor was asked whom he would really like to portray Agent 007, but he bluntly replied, \u201cI don\u2019t care.\u201d<\/p>\n Craig never expected to play Bond so long as he did, previously confessing in a 2022 interview that he thought it might be one movie.
