The Minnesota Wild can compete with Vegas and Florida for Dylan Larkin, but should they be patient in case others pop up?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Joe Smith and Michael Russo of The Athletic<\/strong><\/a>: The Minnesota Wild aren\u2019t moving center Joel Eriksson Ek<\/a> or defenseman Jonas Brodin<\/a> in a Dylan Larkin<\/a> deal, as it could just create one other hole that needs filling. The Wild can compete with offers from the Vegas Golden Knights and Florida Panthers, but not if teams just like the Montreal Canadiens were in the combination.<\/p>\n

Would the Panthers want to offer someone like Anton Lundell<\/a>? Would the Golden Knights need to move the rights to Pavel Dorofeyev<\/a>?<\/p>\n

Latest York Rangers Vincent Trocheck<\/a> could the Wild\u2019s Plan B. The Wild is also patient in case someone like Auston Matthews<\/a>, Brady Tkachuk<\/a> or Nico Hischier<\/a> becomes available.<\/p>\n

NHL Rumors: Canadiens, Devils, Nico Hischier, and the middle market<\/a><\/p>\n

Danila Yurov<\/a> would likely be one player included. The Wild don\u2019t have a first-round picks this 12 months, and no second-round picks over the following three years.<\/p>\n

Dylan Larkin may expand his list just a little, no request from Zach Werenski, Auston Matthews staying and Anders Lee more likely to free agency<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Pierre LeBrun of The Athletic<\/strong><\/a>: Detroit Red Wings GM Steve Yzerman<\/a> has been in constant communication with Dylan Larkin\u2019s agent, Pat Brisson, as they should work together on this.<\/p>\n

Sources say that Yzerman asked for an expanded list from the three teams, and get the sense that Brisson was receptive to it. Many teams have called, including the Dallas Stars, who’ve RFA forward Jason Robertson<\/a>. A 3rd team might have to become involved for the Red Wings to get the pieces they need. Don\u2019t consider the Minnesota Wild have all that the Red Wings would want.<\/p>\n

There was no formal announcement, but signs have Auston Matthews staying and playing for the Toronto Maple Leafs next season. Teams just like the Los Angeles Kings, Anaheim Geese and Utah Mammoth could also be a bit disenchanted.<\/p>\n

Appears that Anders Lee<\/a> can be going to free agency. Talks with the Latest York Islanders proceed.<\/p>\n
