\u201cBased on Friedman and Mark Spector, the Nurse camp have given the Oilers a listing of three-to-five teams he would waive his no-movement clause for. As per sources, TFP has learned the Pittsburgh Penguins and Los Angeles Kings are two teams he could be willing to log out for, and the connections seem clear as to why,\u201d Pagnotta wrote.<\/p>\n

Nurse has history with each Penguins general manager Kyle Dubas and Kings’ general manager Ken Holland. When he was within the OHL, Dubas was his GM. Likewise, Holland signed Nurse to his eight-year contract extension in August 2021.<\/p>\n

With the Oilers showing interest in Mike Babcock, this news is the most recent drama to hit the Edmonton locker room.
