Jose Benavidez Sr. has publicly invited Artur Beterbiev and his team to start negotiations for a fight against David Benavidez.<\/p>\n

The comments got here after Beterbiev recently discussed previous talks involving the 2 camps. Benavidez Sr., who serves as David\u2019s father, trainer, and manager, said he stays able to pursue the matchup.<\/p>\n

\u201cStraight away, if Beterbiev is watching, their managers are watching, or whoever makes that call, I\u2019m David\u2019s father, trainer, manager. Let\u2019s sit down. Let\u2019s make those fights occur. Those are the fights that we have the desire to make,\u201d Benavidez Sr. said to Fight Hub TV.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe never got a proposal. Like I\u2019m telling you at once, we never got a proposal. But those are the fights that we would like. I feel with all my respect, Beterbiev is an awesome fighter, man. He\u2019s a really dangerous fighter. He\u2019s top-of-the-line at once. Him and Bivol are one in every of the highest fighters, but those are the fighters that we would like to prove ourselves and fight.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Benavidez Sr. added that there needs to be little difficulty in putting the bout together if each side have an interest.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet\u2019s make that fight occur. That fight might be made in five minutes,\u201d Jose Sr. said. \u201cThose are the fights that we would like. We\u2019re willing to provide the people what they need.\u201d<\/p>\n

David Benavidez became a three-division world champion earlier this 12 months when he defeated Zurdo Ramirez at cruiserweight. Since then, Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol have steadily been mentioned among the many potential opponents for Benavidez\u2019s next fight.<\/p>\n
