Haney had verbally agreed to drop right down to 144 kilos to accommodate Shakur, while Keyshawn continued pursuing a title fight with the WBO champion.

Responding to Keyshawn on X, Shakur wrote:

“Only gone move off ya blessing brotha.. Defending the title against Keyshawn satisfies the WBO but could delay a number of the biggest paydays available to him. Taking the Shakur fight at 144 kilos, or moving ahead with Ryan Garcia or Conor Benn, could mean leaving the WBO title behind.

Haney now has to come to a decision whether holding onto the WBO title is price putting greater fights on hold.

Only gone move off ya blessing brotha..
