Mean Girls<\/em> costars Amanda Seyfried<\/strong> and Lindsay Lohan<\/strong> are still going strong after greater than 20 years of friendship.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve stayed close because there\u2019s real trust and respect between us,\u201d Lohan, 39, told GQ<\/em><\/a> magazine in a brand new profile of Seyfried published on Monday, June 15. \u201cWhat began as shared experience has grown right into a meaningful friendship over time. Now we talk more about life, motherhood and our families. She\u2019s all the time someone I can depend on. That consistency is rare and something I actually cherish.\u201d<\/p>\n

Seyfried, 40, meanwhile, told the outlet that she had a front-row seat to how Lohan\u2019s every move was scrutinized within the mid-2000s.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe outsized bashing is ugly,\u201d she said. \u201cIt\u2019s like, a fear of mine. I might not need to be spotlit for being infamous in any way.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tMean Girls debuted in theaters on April 30, 2004 \u2014 but the teenager film is widely known annually on October 3, because of considered one of the movie\u2019s most memorable scenes. The film is accountable for creating iconic lines including, \u201cOn Wednesdays, we wear pink\u201d and \u201cIs butter a carb?\u201d But when Aaron Samuels (Jonathan Bennett) innocently [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re almost the identical age. I also wasn\u2019t working at that level. The highlight was on her, regardless of what she did,\u201d Seyfried added.<\/p>\n

Lohan, Seyfried, Rachel McAdams<\/strong> and Lacey Chabert<\/strong> played the Plastics in 2004\u2019s Mean Girls<\/em>, boosting all of their careers. Nevertheless, only Lohan was a tabloid staple on the time, alongside the likes of Paris Hilton<\/strong> and Britney Spears<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Unlike her former costar, Seyfried said, she didn\u2019t have as much attention on her.<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, did I am going clubbing? Yeah,\u201d she told the outlet. \u201cDid I find myself at Val Kilmer<\/strong>\u2019s house one night at 1 a.m. with [Mean Girls<\/em> costars] Daniel Franzese<\/strong> and Jonathan Bennett<\/strong>? Did I find myself there with them within the pool? I used to be 18 and I had just moved to LA and we had gone to a screening of Reefer Madness<\/em>. I used to be at Val Kilmer\u2019s house \u2014 I don\u2019t even remember meeting him, but I used to be at his house.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMy 20s were ridiculous,\u201d she added. \u201cI discovered myself at many places. I also remember there was a time I could have done cocaine for the primary time on the Chateau [Marmont], and I didn\u2019t because I used to be scared. And so there was a limit to how much partying I used to be going to do, because I only desired to be so drunk that I could [still] get myself home.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now that she\u2019s older, Seyfried lives on a farm within the Hudson Valley in Recent York state with husband Thomas Sadoski<\/strong> and their two children: daughter Nina, 9, and son Thomas, 5.<\/p>\n
