Singer and web personality Oliver Tree was on the passenger list of a helicopter involved in a deadly crash that killed six people over Rio de Janeiro on Sunday morning, firefighters said.<\/p>\n

He was 32.<\/p>\n

Rio de Janeiro\u2019s Military Fire Department said certainly one of the helicopters crashed within the car parking zone of a automobile dealership, where several electric vehicles were parked, igniting a fireplace that was extinguished, The Associated Press reports.<\/p>\n

Officials said an investigation is underway to find out the reason for the collision.<\/p>\n

Police said that comedian Tree was on the list of passengers given to aviation authorities, but they’ve not been capable of discover the bodies of those killed within the crash, in accordance with The Associated Press.<\/p>\n

Tree performed in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on June 4 and shared videos on Instagram Saturday<\/a>, where he was playing soccer in a Brazilian neighbourhood.<\/p>\n

The 32-year-old singer was in the course of his headlining world tour for his fourth studio album, Love You Madly, Hate You Badly<\/em>, which began on May 30 in Mexico City.<\/p>\n

Of the six fatalities, five were in a single helicopter and only the pilot was within the second aircraft, CNN Brazil reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Global News has reached out to the Civil Police of the State of Rio de Janeiro for further comment, but has not received a response.<\/p>\n

Tree, who has greater than three million followers on Instagram and 17.2 million followers on TikTok, debuted his first EP Demons\u00a0<\/em>in 2013 and spent his early profession producing dubstep and performing under the artist name \u201cTree.\u201d<\/p>\n

In 2017, Tree signed with Atlantic Records and released his single Welcome to LA<\/em> under the name Oliver Tree in 2018.<\/p>\n
