Sean O\u2019Malley says he\u2019s not complaining after expressing bonus snub frustrations<\/h2>\n

On the post-fight press conference where Dana White announced that Justin Gaethje won two post-fight bonuses, the entire night\u2019s winners were on stage at the identical time.<\/p>\n

This meant that the likes of Sean O\u2019Malley needed to stick around until the event was over before they might truly rejoice their wins.<\/p>\n

The previous UFC bantamweight champion voiced frustrations about not getting a bonus when finally attending to recap his fight via his YouTube channel<\/a> within the early hours of Monday morning.<\/p>\n

Having now recorded back-to-back wins contained in the Octagon, \u2018Suga\u2019 also highlighted how the highs and lows of MMA don\u2019t compare.<\/p>\n

\u201cThen we did a f\u2014\u2014 pointless press conference where I didn\u2019t get a bonus and it was f\u2014\u2014 ridiculous,\u201d he said. \u201cI used to be just telling Tim, like these wins feel good, prefer it feels good but when I might have lost, those are only a lot worse than wins. It\u2019s like, why even do that s\u2014.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDude, Gaethje getting a double bonus. I believed of course I used to be getting a bonus,\u201d he added later within the video. \u201cI used to be so confident\u2026 Hey, I\u2019m not complaining.\u201d<\/p>\n

O\u2019Malley did earn the usual $25,000 bonus for producing a finish, but remarked that he\u2019ll use this to pay taxes and get back home.<\/p>\n

While he won’t have gotten the payout he hoped for, the 31-year-old still got here away from the White House with a really significant win.<\/p>\n

O\u2019Malley has been in a position to beat two contenders to bounce back from suffering consecutive losses for the primary time in his profession.<\/p>\n

Together with his first finish since he knocked out Aljamain Sterling to win the bantamweight gold, he\u2019s actually back within the title picture.<\/p>\n
