Fury addressed the growing speak about his future on the UFC\u2019s White House event\u00a0over the weekend, where he hinted that a significant announcement involving Dana White might be on the horizon. The heavyweight star has been heavily linked to White\u2019s expanding boxing operation, whilst his long-discussed showdown with Anthony Joshua stays unresolved.<\/p>\n

Asked by Chris Algieri whether Fury\u2019s promotional situation could complicate the long-awaited Joshua fight, Garcia dismissed the concept.<\/p>\n

\u201cFans don\u2019t care. Fans don\u2019t care. So long as the fight happens, I don\u2019t care,\u201d Garcia said to Probox TV. \u201cAnthony Joshua obviously has been very, very loyal and has worked thoroughly with Eddie and Matchroom, and that\u2019s perfect. I like that with fighters also. But Tyson Fury, if he says Turki Alalshikh is his promoter, that fight can still occur.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Garcia identified that the assorted parties involved in boxing\u2019s biggest events have worked together before, making the promotional wrangling less important than some have suggested.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not like they\u2019ve never worked together. They proceed working together. So it\u2019s a fight that has no business with the promoters. It\u2019s not just like the promoters are going to forestall the fight or anything like that. The promoters could make it occur. Turki could make it occur.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Mexican trainer\u2019s greater concern was that Fury and Joshua proceed taking interim bouts as a substitute of finally meeting within the ring.<\/p>\n

Garcia previously stated throughout the discussion that neither heavyweight needs one other stay-busy contest and warned that the longer they wait, the greater the possibility that injuries, defeats or age diminish the appeal of certainly one of boxing\u2019s most anticipated matchups.<\/p>\n
