Kim Plath<\/strong> is willing to speak about her late son, Joshua, but chatting about him with son-in-law Zac Wyse<\/strong> is anything but fun.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m aware that Zac likes to have really deep conversations, but I don\u2019t know that \u2018excited\u2019 is the word I’d pick,\u201d Kim, 53, tells the cameras in Us Weekly<\/em>\u2019s exclusive sneak peek on the Welcome to Plathville<\/em> season 8 finale, airing Tuesday, June 16.<\/p>\n

Despite being uncomfortable, Kim sits down with Zac, 24, who tries to elucidate how \u201cexcited\u201d his wife, Lydia Plath<\/strong>, is to \u201cjust have the opportunity to share this along with her family who experienced it along with her.\u201d<\/p>\n

Zac reveals it\u2019s \u201cawesome\u201d and \u201cgreat\u201d that Kim is willing to seek advice from not only Lydia, 22, but everyone else about Joshua, after Lydia claimed her parents never spoke about him once he died. (Joshua died in 2008 when he was 17 months old following an accident on the family farm during which Kim was driving and ran him over.)<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve given up trying to sort things and make every relationship work and each relationship perfect,\u201d Lydia tells the cameras, noting that only \u201ctime\u201d will tell whether Kim and Zac \u201cdecide to spend time together and grow or not.\u201d<\/p>\n

Zac, for his part, says in a confessional that he doesn\u2019t \u201cunderstand\u201d Kim and the way she \u201coperates.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m trying to know lots of the choices she\u2019s making, however it just doesn\u2019t click for me,\u201d he admits, seemingly referring to Kim\u2019s alternative to not relive her heartbreak with Joshua publicly like Lydia did during a January podcast. (Lydia\u2019s brother Ethan Plath<\/strong>, meanwhile, revealed during a June episode that he doesn\u2019t prefer to speak about Joshua \u201cpublicly unless it\u2019s remembering him for who he was when he was alive,\u201d saying it was \u201cdisrespectful\u201d to talk about his actual death.)<\/p>\n

Zac and Kim stumble through their conversation, with Zac telling his mother-in-law, \u201cGrief is unquestionably more complicated, I feel like, at times.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kim explains throughout the heart-to-heart that she’s going to \u201cat all times be a parent that lost a baby.\u201d<\/p>\n

She notes, \u201cThere\u2019s no amount of considering, talking, writing, what, praying, anything that would change that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kim reveals that she appears like she \u201clost a lot\u201d of her life throughout the yr after Joshua\u2019s death that she doesn\u2019t prefer to return there.<\/p>\n

Kim, nonetheless, notes that if her other nine children, whom she shares with ex-husband Barry Plath<\/strong>, do \u201cneed me to return there for some time, I\u2019ll do it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Zac is completely happy to listen to that, responding, \u201cThat\u2019s good,\u201d since his wife has been asking Kim to speak about Joshua an increasing number of.<\/p>\n
