(CCIP) said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">\u201cThe forecast is that we are going to have the identical growth this yr of 9% to 10%,\u201d CCIP President Janina G. Tan told reporters on the sidelines of the Cosmobeaut\u00e9 Philippines 2026 trade show on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">In 2025, the industry posted 10.1% growth in retail sales to P320.85 million, she said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">\u201cWhat&#8217;s more exciting is that the industry forecasts that this momentum of growth is predicted to proceed through 2026,\u201d Ms. Tan said in a speech.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">The industry counts producers of skincare, moisturizers, and color cosmetic products as its members.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">Sun care products like sunscreen are expected to be probably the most in-demand product after having posted sales growth of 16% last yr.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">Ms. Tan said the rise of social media and content creation continues to shape consumer preferences and boost product visibility.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">\u201cWith content creators and social media, we&#8217;re capable of bring our products to everyone\u2019s attention,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">Ms. Tan noted that despite high prices in consequence of the Middle East conflict, demand for private care and wonder products stays strong.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">\u201cEspecially within the mass market, the demand remains to be there,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">Ms. Tan noted that her company HairReve, which makes products that alleviate hair loss, posted strong sales throughout the Easter break, when the market typically slows down.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">\u201cThis yr, for some reason, our sales online surged.
