In lower than a month, on Jul. 11, 2026, Conor McGregor is ready to participate in his comeback fight. Returning to the octagon after a niche of virtually five years, McGregor is ready to face longtime rival Max Holloway. The 2 are set to face one another within the principal event of UFC 329 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Set to mark the Irishman\u2019s first fight in five years, McGregor shall be returning to MMA having recovered from his broken tibia injury.<\/p>\n

Just days before his return fight, McGregor recently revealed that his final UFC fight will happen in Apr. 2027. In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, McGregor opened up intimately<\/a> about his existing UFC contract as well the remaining variety of fights in it.<\/p>\n

\u201cImmediately I’m contracted, and I even have each dates,\u201d McGregor said. \u201cI even have each dates for my fights. I even have 11 July. When would you’re thinking that they might put me back in? When would you’re thinking that they might put me back in? April 2027. It\u2019s almost a 12 months later, that\u2019s ridiculous to me. I feel, no?<\/p>\n

\u201cThat is the best way the contract was done, I don\u2019t know. You\u2019d must ask Audie [Attar, manager] on all of that. I\u2019m like: \u2018Huh? Just give me the f***ing contract.\u2019 It gets to that stage. I even have 11 July, it\u2019s only not far away. Yep, that\u2019s positivity, happiness, don\u2019t wanna go an excessive amount of on all that [other stuff]. I\u2019ve got the fight, I\u2019ve got the date. I feel great. Bring it on, baby. The Mac is back, and I\u2019m gonna placed on a show here on this fight,\u201d McGregor added.<\/p>\n

Did the UFC extend Conor McGregor’s contract?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Previously reported as having just two fights left in his contract and recently confirmed by McGregor himself, the 37-year-old was also asked if the UFC approached him about extending his contract.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m blissful, I\u2019m blissful to an extent. There\u2019s loads more there [in the future], I hope it\u2019s with the UFC. I hope we come to something, I hope I get on it much more. I hope I can prove much more so what I\u2019m all about. It wasn\u2019t that difficult, we met in the center. We got an excellent, juicy one. Was it what my value is? Probably not. Was it what they\u2019d wish to offer? Definitely not, definitely not.\u201d<\/p>\n
