Alistair Overeem has overcome the injury that retired him <\/h2>\n

Alistair Overeem is feeling higher than he did while competing after 4 years in retirement. <\/p>\n

The previous Strikeforce and Dream heavyweight champion continues to frequently train. <\/p>\n

Overeem looks like he could fight again tomorrow, but does he feel like that may be a possibility?<\/p>\n

\u201cAn injury took me out of the game,\u201d Overeem said during an exclusive interview with Bloody Elbow.<\/p>\n

\u201cA lower back injury, it was nagging. It got here back a few times in my profession. The last time it didn\u2019t wish to go away, and it forced me out of the game.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel higher now than I did five years ago. I feel younger. That being said, the time away did somewhat take me out of form. I lost some mass. <\/p>\n

\u201cSo, I\u2019m just training, and I\u2019m having fun with it. That is my bread and butter. It gives me pleasure. I\u2019m just doing what I like. If it leads to, \u2018Hey, we feel like are going to kick ass again,\u2019 which could possibly be, you\u2019ll be the primary to know.\u201d<\/p>\n
