A United States Championship match is now official for WWE Night of Champions 2026, as Ricky Saints has earned a shot at Trick Williams and the title.<\/p>\n

Last week, WWE announced that the winner of Ricky Saints vs. Carmelo Hayes would secure a future United States Championship opportunity at Night of Champions 2026.<\/p>\n

Saints punched his ticket to the championship match after defeating Hayes in a hard-fought contest. The finish got here when Hayes struck the back of his head against an exposed turnbuckle, allowing Saints to capitalize and pick up the victory.<\/p>\n

With the win, Saints has secured his opportunity to challenge Trick Williams for the USA Championship at WWE Night of Champions 2026.<\/p>\n

During this week\u2019s episode of WWE SmackDown, the road to Night of Champions 2026 took one other dramatic turn as a blockbuster Triple Threat Match was officially announced.<\/p>\n

Fans first witnessed a rematch between Cody Rhodes and GUNTHER for the Undisputed WWE Championship, with Sami Zayn serving because the special guest referee. The competition descended into controversy when Rhodes initially picked up the victory after Zayn counted a noticeably quick three-count. Following objections, the match was restarted.<\/p>\n

The second attempt led to even greater chaos, as Zayn attacked GUNTHER, forcing the referee to call for a disqualification and bringing the bout to an abrupt end.<\/p>\n

Later within the night, Rhodes met with SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis and requested a match involving all three men to settle the growing tensions. Aldis agreed, officially sanctioning a Triple Threat Match between Rhodes, GUNTHER, and Zayn for WWE Night of Champions 2026.<\/p>\n

During this week\u2019s edition of WWE SmackDown, Jey Uso squared off against Je\u2019Von Evans in a King of the Ring Tournament semifinal matchup. With a spot within the tournament finals on the road, each competitors battled for the chance to face Oba Femi.<\/p>\n

Within the closing moments of the match, Evans attempted to attach with the OG Cutter, but Uso shut down the attack before it could land. The previous World Heavyweight Champion then delivered a spear and followed it up with a Uso Splash to secure the pinfall victory.<\/p>\n

With the win, Jey Uso advances to the King of the Ring Tournament Finals, where he’ll meet Oba Femi at WWE Night of Champions 2026 later this month.<\/p>\n

Tiffany Stratton has officially accepted Jade Cargill\u2019s challenge.<\/p>\n

During last week\u2019s episode of WWE SmackDown, Stratton teamed up with Rhea Ripley in a tag team match against B-Fab and Michin. The duo got here up short, and things only got worse after the bell when Stratton was attacked by the opposing side.<\/p>\n

During this week\u2019s episode of WWE SmackDown, Jade Cargill laid down a challenge to Stratton for the Women\u2019s United States Championship at WWE Night of Champions 2026.<\/p>\n

Later in the published, Cathy Kelley caught up with Stratton for an interview and asked for her response. The champion didn\u2019t hesitate, confirming that she accepts Cargill\u2019s challenge and can see her at Night of Champions 2026.<\/p>\n

Shortly afterward, WWE made the championship match official, setting the stage for a high-profile showdown between Stratton and Cargill on the pay-per-view event.<\/p>\n

And eventually, Liv Morgan is headed to the Queen of the Ring finals.<\/p>\n

During this week\u2019s edition of WWE SmackDown, Liv Morgan faced Charlotte Flair in a Queen of the Ring Tournament semifinal match. Flair entered the bout at a drawback after being attacked backstage by Jade Cargill, B-Fab, and Michin before the match. Despite the assault and a visibly injured leg, The Queen refused to back down and insisted on competing.<\/p>\n

Morgan immediately targeted Flair\u2019s injured leg throughout the competition, keeping the pressure on and stopping her opponent from mounting a sustained comeback. After a hard-fought battle, Morgan secured the victory by forcing Flair to tap out to a half-crab submission.<\/p>\n

With the win, Morgan advances to the Queen of the Ring Tournament finals, where she is going to face IYO SKY at WWE Night of Champions 2026.<\/p>\n
