As \u201cLove Island\u201d season 8 continues making waves, season 6 contestant Kaylor Martin is talking about her time on the show in 2024. In a brand new interview, the truth star, who made headlines as a consequence of her up-and-down relationship with Aaron Evans, also spilled the tea on where she stands together with her co-stars, specifically Leah Kateb, Serena Page, Rob Rausch, and Kendall Washington. <\/p>\n

Season 6 of \u201cLove Island\u201d is arguably the franchise\u2019s hottest, because it featured plenty of affection and just as much drama. Their popularity was so great that Peacock launched a spin-off, \u201cBeyond the Villa,\u201d featuring a handful of the forged members navigating their latest lives in Los Angeles. <\/p>\n

In a brand new interview, Martin opened up about her status with a few of her castmates, revealing that things between them are still higher than ever. \u201cI used to be literally just on FaceTime with Serena this morning. It\u2019s so hard because once we all are so busy on a regular basis,\u201d Martin told Mirror<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Season 6 put the \u201cLove Island\u201d castmates on the map, providing them with quite a few opportunities. Their busy schedules keep them from seeing one another as often as they\u2019d like, said Martin, but that doesn\u2019t mean they\u2019ve forgotten about one another. <\/p>\n

\u201cI used to be just with Kendall and Rob in Nashville for the CMAs. That was amazing,\u201d she said. \u201cSerena, JaNa, and I are planning a visit at once. And Leah just texted me to examine in.\u201d <\/p>\n

Other than her relationship with Evans, Martin also made headlines during season 6 of \u201cLove Island\u201d as a consequence of her outgoing personality and frequent emotional outbursts. Those tears, though, are the one thing Martin said she\u2019d change about her time on the show. <\/p>\n

\u201cI have a look at myself on TV and I say, \u2018Baby, get up! Like, speak up for yourself!’\u201d she said. Martin went on to say that she was \u201cvery timid\u201d within the \u201cLove Island\u201d villa, adding that her experience forced her to realize a brand new level of confidence.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf I used to be timid like I used to be on Love Island and saw a hate comment, I\u2019d still be in bed crying today,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n

Season 8 is currently three weeks in, and while the forged won\u2019t see Martin\u2019s message, she offered them advice on navigate life in front of the cameras. <\/p>\n

\u201cOne, just stay true to you. Be the identical girl you mostly have been. I feel, for those who\u2019re not yourself on Love Island, it can read through,\u201d she said. \u201cIn case you\u2019re attempting to have famous Love Island one-liners, people will clock it. Just be you.\u201d <\/p>\n

Kateb shared an analogous message during her exclusive chat with The Blast. \u201cJust have a good time,\u201d she said. \u201cBe yourself, and don\u2019t take things too seriously. Just enjoy your time.\u201d<\/p>\n

In accordance with a previous report from The Blast, the most recent season of \u201cLove Island\u201d kicked off with a bang.<\/p>\n

Before the primary episode even aired, a Pennsylvania mayor blasted forged member Sean Reifel, accusing him of leaving his job as a police officer to film the series. The department\u2019s police chief also commented, saying she was \u201cupset\u201d in the daddy of 1 for allegedly leaving the town high and dry. <\/p>\n

Reifel didn\u2019t take the comments sitting down, though. He fired back on an episode of \u201cLove Island\u2019s\u201d aftershow, \u201cAftersun,\u201d stating that he had a candid conversation with the department about his decision to take unpaid leave to be on the show. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt does trouble me because they \u2013 just before I left \u2013 gave me awards for like, with my partners, taking a woman out of a constructing on fire and talking someone off a roof that was mentally in poor health. So, to offer me those, after which do something like this? I just don\u2019t understand,\u201d he told host Ciara Miller. <\/p>\n
