Ian Machado Garry believes he’s Islam Makhachev\u2019s kryptonite<\/h2>\n

Together with his victory over Jack Della Maddalena, Islam Makhachev tied Anderson Silva for the longest win streak in UFC history. He can break it with a victory over Ian Machado Garry, however the Irishman has other ideas.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think Islam has a whole lot of weaknesses,\u201d Garry admitted in an Instagram video. \u201cHe\u2019s never fought someone as long and tall as me. He\u2019s not fought someone as fast as me, he\u2019s not fought someone who has the space management, the boxing capabilities, the top movement that I do.<\/p>\n

\u201cThen also there\u2019s the takedown defence. He might get me down, I hope he does. Because I would like to prove to the world that he can\u2019t submit me. I would like to prove to the world that I can get back up. I would like to prove to the world that I can beat him in his own world. <\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t care how long he\u2019s trained in that area, I don\u2019t care if he’s an internationally recognized master of sambo or not. I\u2019m going to bounce him on his skull. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m going to take his title. I\u2019m going to take his throne and I\u2019m going to complete that consecutive win streak and I\u2019ll at all times be the guy that stopped history from happening.\u201d<\/p>\n
