MMA legend Michael Bisping has now deeply questioned Conor McGregor\u2019s detractors ahead of the Irishman\u2019s UFC 329 clash against Max Holloway next month.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Conor McGregor and Max Holloway will meet in a rematch on the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas in July, however the bout can be a welterweight clash this time around.<\/p>\n

Holloway suffered a unanimous decision defeat to McGregor when the pair initially met within the UFC octagon for a featherweight fight at UFC Fight Night 26 in 2013.<\/p>\n

McGregor has been out of the octagon since 2021 after his back-to-back defeats to Dustin Poirier at UFC 257 and UFC 264 ahead of constructing his return against Holloway.<\/p>\n

Michael Bisping thinks Conor McGregor\u2019s \u2018strong mind\u2019 is being overestimated going into UFC 329<\/h2>\n

Max Holloway has been the more lively fighter out of him and Conor McGregor, because the 34-year-old last competed against Charles Oliveira at UFC 326 in March.<\/p>\n

McGregor had been teased for a return long ahead of his clash with Holloway, including to fight against Michael Chandler at UFC 303 in 2024 before it fell through.<\/p>\n

Talking to MMA Junkie<\/a>, Michael Bisping has insisted that the \u201cstrongest thing\u201d at McGregor\u2019s disposal is his \u201cstrong mind\u201d ahead of his UFC 329 appearance.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis can be a guy where I\u2019ve been removed from all the time seeing eye-to-eye with Conor McGregor,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve gone at one another and stuff like that. But if you happen to can\u2019t see what he was capable of do as a human being \u2013 you may change quite a bit and undo a variety of damage to your body.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou’ll be able to get really, really out of form. I used to do it. I used to be a little bit of a partier myself and I’d get in crazy shape for my fight.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you happen to want it, that is probably the most powerful thing: the mind. You’ll be able to\u2019t doubt that McGregor\u2019s got a robust mind.\u201d<\/p>\n

Michael Bisping defends Conor McGregor from his critics after the UFC superstar\u2019s hiatus from the octagon<\/h2>\n

McGregor was sidelined after his second consecutive defeat to Dustin Poirier after the 37-year-old Irish superstar broke his leg in the primary round of his UFC 264 fight.<\/p>\n

Bisping insisted that McGregor has not needed to be \u2018money motivated\u2019 to fight again after his blockbuster success in combat sports amid the criticism against him.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t see how people can doubt Conor McGregor,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, it\u2019s five years. Yeah, he had the leg break. Yeah, he\u2019s been off having fun with the spoils of his riches \u2013 rightfully so. That\u2019s why we do that.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat\u2019s the purpose in being ridiculously wealthy and making all this money from fighting if you happen to don\u2019t get to go and revel in it?\u201d<\/p>\n

McGregor and Holloway will co-main event UFC 329 on the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on eleventh July.<\/p>\n
