Liam Payne<\/span><\/strong>\u2019s son has been named the only real beneficiary of the legendary singer\u2019s estate.<\/p>\n

In accordance with court documents obtained by TMZ<\/span><\/a>, Bear Grey Payne has been awarded the One Direction star\u2019s estate, totaling nearly $28 million.<\/p>\n

Documents reveal a few of the money will be used now, but most of it have to be held in a trust until Bear, now 9, turns 18.<\/p>\n

Liam and his ex-partner Cheryl Cole<\/strong> welcomed a son in March 2017. Greater than seven years later, the previous One Direction member died on the age of 31<\/span> after falling to his death at a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.<\/p>\n

Cole, 42, and music lawyer Richard Bray<\/strong> were named as administrators of Liam\u2019s estate after it was revealed the singer didn’t have a will on the time of his death.<\/p>\n

\u201cLiam was not only a pop star and celebrity, he was a son, a brother, an uncle, a pricey friend and father to our 7 12 months old son,\u201d Cole wrote via Instagram<\/span><\/a> just days after Liam\u2019s death in October 2024. \u201cA son that now has to face the truth of never seeing his father again.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cWhat’s troubling my spirit essentially the most is that in the future, Bear can have access to the abhorrent reports and media exploitation now we have seen. \u2026 It’s breaking my heart further that I cannot protect him from that in his future.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cole has tried to lift her son privately and away from social media. In a rare Instagram post, nonetheless, she documented a visit to Walt Disney World with Bear for an unforgettable trip.<\/p>\n

\u201cSomewhere within the corners of the world Magic still exists \ud83d\udcab\u2728\ud83e\ude84,\u201d she wrote<\/span><\/a> in April. \u201cI don\u2019t know what took me so long to experience the fun of @waltdisneyworld but I completely escaped into my inner child for the last couple of weeks. What a beautiful place \ud83e\udd70.\u201d<\/p>\n

Since Liam\u2019s death, Louis Tomlinson<\/strong> has shined a light-weight on One Direction\u2019s closer bond<\/span> as they navigate grief and the lack of their friend.<\/p>\n
