Rings of Europe has finally commented on the controversy surrounding the promotion, which resulted of their most up-to-date event being canceled.<\/p>\n

The promotion reportedly made a fake explicit image of Polish wrestler Diana Strong<\/strong> and shared it amongst male wrestlers, all without Strong\u2019s consent.<\/p>\n

The intended plan was for the image for use to cost Strong a match, and it could be featured heavily on the event and on social media.<\/p>\n

This led to a mass boycott of wrestlers, leading to the event that was scheduled for June 20 being nixed shortly before it was purported to occur.<\/p>\n

In a post (translated into English) shared on Facebook<\/a>, Rings of Europe shared a message. They wrote,<\/p>\n

\u201cSince we were faced relatively late with the ultimate cancellation of the show, the official cancellation didn\u2019t happen until approx. 18.00 P.M. At the moment, some fans were already either on the bottom or on the road. Nearly all of the staff decided to forgo an appearance. There have been some wrestlers who would have competed, nevertheless it didn\u2019t make sense quantitatively then. \u00d6TICKET has already began refunding SA show tickets. An in depth talk will follow, as mentioned before, in the following few days! We ask for understanding!\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

In a later statement, it was shared that a discussion might be going down in regards to the mistakes made and the following steps going forward. The corporate wrote,<\/p>\n
